Rules & Guidelines
Event Rules
- Rule 1 - The debate topics will be given 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the event. The topics will be historical, political, or in current affairs.
- Rule 2 - There will be 2 rounds: the Argument round and the Rebuttal round. All arguments and rebuttals must be strictly in English.
- Rule 3 - The speakers are allowed to speak for a maximum of 5 minutes in the Argument round and 3 minutes in the Rebuttal round.
- Rule 4 - No profanity or inappropriate content is allowed.
- Rule 5 - The participants must be present at least 45 minutes before the scheduled event time.
- Rule 6 - The decision of the judges is final and binding.
- Rule 7 - If there are less than 4 participants, the competition will be called off and registration fee will be refunded.
